I remember fishing with my father, walking down dirt paths to the rivers edge, watching the sunrise as Caddis flies danced in the morning light. Ever since then I have been drawn to the river.
Over 23 years ago we moved to Colorado from Connecticut where I had a very successful picture framing and gallery business. It was here in Colorado amongst the endless rivers, that I came up with an idea.
A lifetime of fishing led me to Tenkara, the Japanese style of fly-fishing.  I purchased my first rod; it came with no case.  I found myself in a garden shop looking for bamboo.  Well, I guess I took it to heart.  Go figure.  I've been studying the Japanese culture since.

                           Good fishing to all.
